n. aggregate of physical and mental phenomena.
khandha is made up of five constituents:
1. rupak-khandhā -- aggregate of corporeality
2. vedanak-khandā -- aggregate of feeling
3. saññak-khandā -- aggregate of perception
4. saṅkhārak-khandā -- aggregate of concomitants
5. vīññāṇak-khandhā -- aggregate of consciousnesskhandha: the 5 'groups (of existence)' or 'groups of clinging' (upádánakkhandha);alternative renderings: aggregates, categories of clinging's objects. These are the 5 aspects in which the Buddha has summed up all the physical and mental phenomena of existence, and which appear to the ignorant man as his ego, or personality, to wit:
1. corporeality group (rúpak-khandha),
2. feeling group (vedanák-khandha),
3. perception group (saññák-khandha),
4. mental-formation group (sankhárak-khandha),
5. consciousness-group (viññának-khandha). -- NBD

Another division is that into the 2 groups: mind (2-5) and corporeality (1) (náma-rúpa), whilst in Dhamma Sanganí, the first book of the Abhidhamma, all the phenomena are treated by way of 3 groups: consciousness (5), mental factors (2-4), corporeality (1), in Páli citta, cetasika, rúpa.
