(nt.) shouting, uproar, excitement about, tumult, foreboding, warning about something, hailing. There are 5 kolāhala enumerated:
1. kappa-kolāhala -- the announcement of the end of the world
2. cakkavatti-kolāhala -- the announcement of a world-king
3. buddha--kolāhala -- the announcement of a Buddha
4. maṇgala-kolāhala -- the announcement that a Buddha will pronounce the Mangala Sutta
5. mo-ne-yya--kolāhala -- the pronouncement that a monk will enquire of the Buddha after the highest wisdom.

kappa
• literal meaning -- (adj) fitting, suitable, proper.
• applied meaning -- 1. (qualitative) ordinance, precept, rule; practice. 2. (temporal) a "fixed time, time with ref. to individual and cosmic life; as a cycle of time; as a measure of time -- an age of the world. There are three principle cycles or aeons: mahā kappa , asankheyya kappa , antara kappa . A whole, complete kappa is designated by kevala kappa .

mo-ne-yya -- state of a muni , muni-hood; good character, moral perfection. e.g.
