UKT 200323: We've seen {þya.}, - {þa.ya.pín.} above. It is not used in Bur-Myan, because of its uncertain pronunciation. It is note worthy that in its place, the Skt-Dev speakers have used {Sya.} स . If only {Sa.} had been used with {ya.pín.}, we would have - {þa.ya.pín.}, and it would be mistaken for r2c4 {Za.}. Mon-Myan uses {za.} and their r2c4 is {zya.}. Now, we are with {þRa.} स , which can be easily mistaken for {AU:}. I was thinking of changing the shape of {AU:} to one shown in blue color in the above table - but I've been advised not to as it would be seen as an attack on Bur-Myan akshara.

UKT 200323:
Skt-Dev speakers, because of their
inability to pronounce the thibilant
/θ/, maintain that:
{þa.} स is sibilant. In its place
they give the Husher-Hisser or sibilant group,
श ś [ɕ] /ʃ/ ; ष ṣ [ʂ] /s/; स s [s] /θ/.
See:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Alphabet_of_Sanskrit_Transliteration
200323
They have invented a new glyph:
प + diagonal --> ष
Following their example I've invented for the Dental sibilant {Sa.} ष / {S} ष् , which we don't have. We have only Palatal stop {sa.} च / {c} च् . I can not rewrite {sa.} च as {ca.} because {sa.} is a Palatal stop (and because of the common Burmese to English transcription), whereas च is Palatal affricate. Yet, I've to give in for the killed-consonant {c} च् . Coming back to {Sya.} स्य , because I've to use Bur-Myan {þa.}, I'll have to write {þya.} as legitimate for BEPS, with the caveat to pronounce it as {Sya.} when speaking Sanskrit or Hindi. Please note: BEPS is not meant to replace Burmese, nor Hindi. BEPS is meant to show the relationship between Burmese, English, Pali, and Sanskrit. It is what chemical engineers call a happy medium which nobody likes but has to accept because of its usefulness.
