Saraswati may be the Hindu Mother-Goddess , and Rama, the incarnation of Déva-God
Vishnu, may be a Hindu déva-god himself. They are entities worth remembering because one is
the goddess of learning, and the other is the hero-king who places his people
even above his family life. But who is Gayatri? In the mantra, it is स्वः
«svaḥ» which in Skt-Myan is
{þw:.}
who is the Energy source personified in the Sun. Gayatri Mantra is sung by
high-caste Brahmin-Poannas, to the rising Sun, every morning while half-immerse
in river-water. In this way, it many be said to correspond to the Buddhist
Peacock or Mora Paritta.
Many in Myanmarpré pay homage to them. They are part of our culture.
