UKT: The phoneme «ai» is realized in
Bur-Myan as
{è:}. However this is absent in Eng-Lat and Pal-Myan. This has led me to
suggest that Bur-Myan as a Tibeto-Burman (Tib-Bur) language had existed side
by side with Skt-Dev an Indo-European (IE) language. It is probable that
Pal-Myan was an intermediate language more akin to Tib-Bur than to IE. --
