- n. the six celestial realms (devaloka), namely:-
1. Catumahārājika - the realm of the four guardian deities of the world on Mount Meru;
2. Tāvatimsā- Indra's realm on the highest plane of Mount Meru;
3. Yāmā - realm where pain has been eliminated;
4. Tusitā - realm of the happy dwellers;
5. Nimmānarati - realm of those who delight in created mansions;
6. Paranimmitavasavatti - realm of those who delight in pleasure procured by others.
