Dedicated to my departed cousins, Maung Ño and Kraún Ma, who migrated to Malaysia from Myanmarpré their birth country. Both, husband Maung Ño, and wife Kyaún Ma (daughter of my aunt A'yee Ma Chin), learn to speak Malay in a few months. Yet, with their children, their home language remains Bur-Myan.

The Doggie Tale:

Little doggie cringe in fear -- ŋ (velar),

Seeing Ella's flapping ears -- ɲ (palatal)

And, the Shepard's hanging rear -- ɳ (retroflex).
Doggie so sad he can't get it out
