UKT 201017: Bur-Myan Buddhists are fond of groupings. A common example is the Five Precepts,
{gna:pa: þi-la.} (see Group of Five ), which devote Buddhists keep for everyday. Yet there are many who do not know what those are. We find the Five Precepts in SriLanka: a monk would lead the recitation as the teacher, and the lay-people would follow the recitation, and in conclusion the monk would ask his audience to keep the Precepts for the day.
